A system for non-destructive material testing using penetrant method, suitable for ferrous and nonferrous metals.
Our testing system CPD 100 consists of the components:
- Cleaner CPD 100 R1-S
- Dye penetrant red CPD 100 PR-S
- Developer CPD 100 E-S
With CPD-System surface defects on castings of ferrous and nonferrous metals can be proven quickly, non-destructive and without much effort.
Free parts with CPD 100 R1-S thoroughly from grease, oil or other contaminants and leave to dry. The defect must be open to the surface.
Spray the dye penetrant CPD 100 PR-S onto the cleaned and dried surface and leave for 5-10 minutes.
Excess of dye penetrant either rinse with water or wipe off with CPD 100 R1-S and leave the surface to dry.
Spray on the developer CPD 100 E-S very thinly from about 20 cm away. Faults are shown in red, which can be evaluated after 5-10 minutes.

Mrs. Uebachs has been working for Technofond since 01.08.2000.
